Alexis Gendron, the Flyers prospect who was chosen in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, seventh round 220th pick overall has done something incredible in the Q. Gendron has become the second player this season to score 50 goals.
The 19-year-old right winger, who stands at 5 foot 9 with a frame of 175 pounds has been on an absolute tear this season and showed his speed and skill set when he scored his 50th goal two nights ago.
These are the kind of players that the Flyers will need in the future to help them with their current rebuilding phase. After watching his goal he reminds me of new intern general manager Danny Briere.
Danny was well known for his speed and his skills when he played for five NHL organizations including the Philadelphia Flyers.
If Gendron continues to show promise like this, perhaps there's a chance for him to take a crack at the Lehigh Valley Phantoms next season.
