Tyson Foerster, one of the highly touted prospects for the Flyers had one of his best games last night against the Bridgeport Islanders. Despite his dazzling display, The Phantoms lost in overtime 4-3.
The 20-year-old right winger has been quite productive for The Phantoms and has played 34 games, and has scored eleven goals and 12 assists for 23 points.
Foerster was selected for the first round 23rd overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. He was part of a series of draft picks to help the rebuilding Flyers. His talents and skill set certainly give the Flyers high hopes for their future as he is expected to crack the lineup next season.
With the likes of Owen Tippett and TK, with prospects Cutter Gauthier and Foerster the Flyers have a surplus of shooting forwards to help their offense. A number one center or 2 would be on the trade and off-season wish list to help these players take their game to the next level.
