Everyone remembers former Philadelphia Flyers forward Oskar Lindblom, when he was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a type of cancer that forms from a certain kind of cell in bones or soft tissues.
Most people would of called it quits but Lindblom battled back to beat the disease and returned to the game he loved. The 26 year-old signed a deal with the San Jose this summer as a free agent but Flyers fans still support him still.
Lindblom would score a goal vs the red hot Carolina Hurricanes on a shot Lindblom tipped in to beat Hurricanes goaltender Antti Raanta.
