Former Flyers Head Coach Seen Drinking Beer Mid-Game?
The Philadelphia Flyers have not had a head coach somewhat similar to John Tortorella since Peter Laviolette, who was sure the vocal one.
Laviolette had a successful coaching career in Philly, his first year with the Flyers which was in the 2009-2010 season, the team headed to their first Stanley Cup Finals in years, where they'd sadly lose to the Chicago Blackhawks.
Since, Laviolette has been coaching elsewhere for eight years and each year his team has made the playoffs, aside from one year. He is now with the Washington Capitals for the past three years and has made the playoffs twice, in his third year now, he's looking for more playoff success.
He was spotted on TV just a few days ago and caused a trend on social media, fans thought the coach was pounding back a bud light on the bench, but in reality it was a fan, and the photo was perfectly placed!
