According to reports, the Philadelphia Flyers and Nashville Predators have decided not to pursue any long-term plans for former prospect Isaac Ratcliffe.

Isaac Ratcliffe was selected in the 2nd round of the 2017 NFL Draft by Ron Hextall, who traded up 3 picks to move up to select him.
Presumably this means that Ratcliffe isn't part of the Predators plans moving forward

@CapFriendly
lists him as a UFA

Hextall traded a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in 2017 to move up in the 2nd round to take Ratcliffe

A shame he hasn't panned out to this point

Before the SARSCOV2 pause in 2019-2020, Ratcliff started his professional career in the Lehigh Valley. His ability to play the game steadily improved over that season before being limited by injury in 2020-2021.
It was eventually announced, however, that Ratcliff had played only 10 NHL games with the Flyers and had been traded to the Nashville Predators, who, despite spending a short period in Milwaukee, posting 16 points across 21 regular season games, was not offered a qualifying offer, even after he scored three goals in the AHL playoffs.
Isaac Ratcliffe is a former Flyers prospect. Chicago will not have an NHL affiliate this season; their relationship with the Carolina Hurricanes ended with last season
Nevertheless, Ratcliff seems to have found himself a home with a team of misfits that may be the only AHL independent team. This team is the Chicago Wolves, formerly the Vegas Golden Knights, and Carolina Hurricanes' minor league affiliate.
As a result of his NHL career not going as planned, Ratcliffe will be taking part in the new experiment in Chicago to improve his situation.
