After a 16-year career in the NHL, Loui Eriksson has decided to return home and join Frolunda of the Swedish Hockey League.
Eriksson spent most of his career with the Bruins, Canucks, and Stars before finishing up his last year with the Coyotes.
He had a solid career in which he gathered 613 points in 1,050 games.
Eriksson is the 2nd player to have recently decided to continue hockey closer to home. Just last month, Niklas Hjalmarsson decided to sign a contract with the same Swedish Hockey League that Eriksson is signing with.
