Former tough guy for the Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens and Arizona Coyotes, Zack Kassian has recently announced his retirement.
As a result of his retirement, it was apparent that he was no longer the same player he once was.
The NHL player recently opened up about the incident that ended his career.

The fight against the Habs' new tough guy, Arber Xhekaj, was thought to be the end, but it was actually earlier.

Although Xhekaj wasn't responsible, it happened during a fight between he and former Philadelphia Flyer Zack MacEwen.
The bout happened during a pre-season game, and MacEwen didn't expect to knock out Kassian himself.

During the fight in 2021, Kassian was knocked out and would never feel the same again.
He finished his NHL career with 203 points based on 92 goals and 111 assists.
