Former Philadelphia Flyers 2nd Overall Pick Nolan Patrick's Career Maybe Over

The Philadelphia Flyers former General Manager Ron Hextall made a big mistake taking Nolan Patrick with their 2nd overall pick in 2017, when the Flyers scouts wanted defenseman Cale Makar.

After three seasons with some injures Patrick was traded to the Los Vegas Golden knights in hopes of a fresh start to his career.
Unfortunately Patrick has been able to overcome his injuries especially the concussion is and Golden knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced that Patrick will join goaltender Robin Lehner on the long-term injured reserve list this season.

Nolan Patrick was the projected first overall pick back in 2017, but fell to second with the New Jersey Devils electing to go with Nico Hischier instead. Patrick was projected at one time to be a high end top six forward but hasn't been able to get that opportunity being injured most of his career.
