It was a special night for a former member of the Philadelphia Flyers Organization, forward Oskar Lindblom.
The 26 year-old from Gavle Sweden played in his 300th career NHL game last night in a game that wasn't promised to Lindblom.
Lindholm is a cancer survivor who battled hard to return to the game he loved. Unfortunately for Lindblom he was bought out this off-season by the Flyers, but was then signed as a free agent by the San Jose Sharks and has fit in nicely in the Sharks lineup.
