GRAPHIC: Kid tries to stab player with his skate - criminal investigation has been launched
This past weekend, a high school hockey game in Colorado devolved after a player attempted to seriously hurt his opponent with his skate. He launched numerous kicks�at the player who was in a vulnerable�spot on the ice, and his final one appeared as if he was trying to slice his opponent on the ground.
The victim's father has disclosed that the police were involved and that charges have been issued.

The victim's family found the footage of this incident and was grateful that cameras were present to support their case, if�the police inquires.

The father spoke about the incident with a level of respect that was quite the opposite of what most people would do, but because the police are conducting a criminal investigation, he is unable to say more at this time.
''While i agree some punishment is warranted, let's remember this is a kid. He made a bad decision doesn't mean he is a lifelong criminal.''
