Any involvement of a head coach in a physical altercation in the stands is completely unacceptable, and they should be held accountable for their actions. Such behavior is not befitting of a coach who is expected to be a role model for their team and the community. Additionally, the involvement of extra players from East Texas Baptist University in the fight only exacerbates the situation.
It is important that coaches and players in any sport maintain their composure and show good sportsmanship at all times. Physical altercations have no place in the stands of any sport, and it is vital that all involved parties understand the seriousness of such behavior.
