Those who know Claude Giroux, certainly have a good idea of the player and person.
Giroux is a hard-nosed Canadian centre, and his words are much like his play, they leave nothing to be desired.
So, in true Giroux fashion the newest Ottawa Senator addition, alongside Alex DeBrincat, wasted little time endearing himself to the Senators, and igniting a flame under Leafs fans.
Giroux's statement is a bold one, as the Senators came off a poor season and the Leafs were quite the opposite.
The Leafs and Senators rivalry is alive and well, and with the added layer of Giroux, the battle of Ontario has the opportunity to be a wicked matchup throughout the season.
