The passion runs deep within the Philadelphia fanbase. So deep that one out of every six fans name their pet or child after an athlete. I mean come on; how many kids were receiving the name Chase at one point?

In light of National Dog Day, there is one special pup who loves her Flyers and carries a special name. Meet Harper, the little Flyer pup from Hainesport.

Harper is a French bulldog who was born loving the Philadelphia Flyers. Since day one she sleeps with her Claude Giroux shirt and watches the game with her mom and brother Jason. She is also a Phillies fan, as she was named after Bryce Harper.
She found her new family the day he was signed- it was meant to be.
Not only does she love her Flyers and Sixers, but she is also known to bark at the local Cowboys fans- she was raised right.
