It was a very competitive, if disappointing game today between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Ottawa Senators, as the Flyers lost 5-2 to the Senators led by Giroux.

The Senators Mark Kastelic hit Tyson Foerster from behind during the bout. This hit added fire to an already chippy game.

A Tortorella favorite, Nick Seeler, would make Kastelic answer for the hit.
Both Kastlic and Seeler threw solid punches, but there weren't a lot of them.
However, despite their toughness, the two weren't able to finish their bout before the referees broke it up because they were too entangled to continue.
It seems like a common occurrence with the instigator rules is the lack of the Code in the NHL and its erosion.
Although well-intentioned, teams will have to ice more power-forwards than enforcers now that enforcers are "obsolete".
Hopefully, Foerster is ok after that dirty hit.
