Heavyweight tilt between two goaltenders gets them both kicked out of the game
The last time hockey fans witnessed a goalie brawl was more than two years ago when the Calgary Flames faced off against the Edmonton Oilers in the battle of Alberta. Two heavyweights, Cam Talbot and Mike Smith, battled it out until only one remained, and Mike Smith, a goalie with a history of brawls, emerged victorious.
A goaltender battle very reminiscent of the Smith and Talbot fight occurred out during yesterday night's FHL prospect game between the Carolina Thunderbirds and Missisipi Sea Wolves. Both sides got into it as the game got heated and fighting broke out, which led to the goalies deciding to square off!
