Being eliminated, Mike Yeo's Flyers are currently switching the lineup for each match, giving everyone a chance to play. Even though these choices ended Keith Yandle iron man's record at 989 games, it allows younger players to have more ice time and Yeo to analyze the strength and weaknesses of his new system.

The latest beneficiary of this is Martin Jones, the goaltender has started the last 3 games, including 2 wins against the Rangers and the Columbus Blue Jackets.

After a very difficult start to the season in which Martin Jones was just a shadow of his former self. Culminating with the defeat against the Colorado Avalanche where the Flyers took 7 goals after being shot at 50 times. The goaltender managed to improve his performances in the recent month.

Since the start of March, Jones has a 2.76 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage.

Will he renew his contract with the Orange & Black next season ?
