It's going to be an active summer around the NHL. With a flat cap, team will need to make some space in order to keep or sign players. Frank Seravalli, from Daily Faceoff, made a list of 10 players who are the likeliest to be bought out this summer.

And there is a former Flyer' in this list...
1. Zack Kassian, Edmonton Oilers
2. Matt Murray, Ottawa Senators
3. Marc-Edouard Vlasic, San Jose Sharks
4. Marco Scandella, St. Louis Blues
5. Jason Dickinson, Vancouver Canucks
6. Philippe Myers, Nashville Predators
7. Tyler Johnson, Chicago Blackhawks
8. Jason Zucker, Minnesota Wild
9. Patrik Nemeth, New York Rangers
10. Nick Foligno, Boston Bruins
Philippe Myers, a former Flyers defenseman, is in the middle of the pack on the list. Here's why Seravalli did put him in his list...

"Myers represents a unique and quirky opportunity for a cap-strapped team that can trade for him and actually create salary cap space with a buyout. Because Myers is 25 and his deal is backloaded, his buyout would result in a $616,666 credit on next season's cap, followed by a $633,334 charge the following season. This has happened before (see: Jared Cowen in 2016) and the Toronto Maple Leafs pounced on the deal," wrote Seravalli.

Other names could be interesting for the Flyers. A player like Jason Zucker could help the team if he doesn't ask for too much money. In the last two season, he had some tough moments because of injuries, but at 30 years old, he has still some good hockey in front of him.
