The second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs will officially begin with those two matchups : Claude Giroux and the Florida Panthers are playing the Tampa Bay Lightning, as Brayden Schenn and the St. Louis Blues will duel against Nicolas Aube-Kubel and the Colorado Avalanche.

As you can see, there's plenty of former Flyer left in the playoffs. Let's see how things are going for them...
Obviously, let's begin by Claude Giroux. He did fantastic in the first round with 7 points in 6 games. He played an absolute huge role in Game 6. He scored the game tying and added a primary assist on the series-winning goal. Radko Gudas has been solid. Sergei Bobrovsky, even though shaky at times, got the job done. However, goaltending will certainly make a huge difference in this series against the Lightning so he has to be better if he wants to give his team a chance to advance to the ECF. Finally, Robert Hagg hasn't played a game since the start of the playoffs for the Panthers.
Justin Braun, who was also traded during the last trade deadline found his place in the New York Rangers defense. He isn't outstanding as he made some big errors, but on a 3rd pair, he's not going to hurt you a lot...

It's not surprising as he wasn't used a lot during the end of the regular season, but it isn't a situation he was expecting...
Brayden Schenn wasn't outstanding for the Blues against the Wild - 3 points in 6 games - but he got the job done. Let's see if they can upset the Colorado Avalanche. Talking about the Avalanche, Nicolas Aube-Kubel hasn't hurt his team during their first round series against the Nashville Predators. He was good.
