So, the offseason has officially begun, after yesterday's Colorado Avalanche win in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals. It's going to be a pretty interesting summer, especially for the Flyers. Chuck Fletcher has already made one big move in hiring John Tortorella as the club new head coach.
But now, the most difficult part of the job will begin.
He wants his team to be competitive next year. However, he will have to make some big changes and bring some impact players in his squad if he wants to come back to the playoffs next season.
One superstar, in Alex DeBrincat, has been linked to the Flyers. The Blackhawks forward could be moved this summer, but it will cost a lot to the team that will acquire his services.

According to Anthony DiMarco, from the Fourth Period, a Flyers package for DeBrincat will include the 5th overall pick, one of Farabee or York and a Foerster-type prospect.
