Even if you don't want to admit it, you've got to appreciate the Seattle Kraken's prospect core, and admit it is a top-5 rookie group in the NHL. Their first ever draft pick was Matty Beniers with the second overall pick in the NHL 2021 entry draft.
Matty brings a unbelievable poise to his game, and to top it off, Shane Wright slipped into the Krakens hands when he went fourth overall in this years NHL draft which took place on July seventh.
Beniers has already put on a clinic, and scoring his fourth NHL in his first game of the year during a preseason game against the Edmonton Oilers. Take a look at it below..
