The Rumors scene has been running wild the past few days regarding unrestricted free agent Nazem Kadri.
The 32 year-old London Ontario native is the top available free agent on the market right now but, has been linked to the New York Islanders.
Earlier this month Hockey Insider Elliotte Friedman revealed that Islander General Manager Lou Lamoriello was interested in acquiring Johnny Gaudreau or Nazem Kadri this summer.
Gaudreau is obviously off the table leaving Kadri still a very good plan b. After a Islanders hockey Insider tweeted out that Nazem Kadri has signed with the New York Islanders hockey Insider looking to see the deal and if it was confirmed or not.

However, a well known and trusted Hockey Insider David Pagnotta believes Kadri could be a New York Islander soon, as they are trying to free up enough cap space before making a deal.
Kadri had a career year with 87 points this past season and was a huge part of the Avalanche Stanley Cup Championship.
