Former Flyers netminder Anthony Stolarz faced off against Philadelphia's up and coming, Samuel Ersson, on Tuesday night and his return to the City Of Brotherly Love was not a warm welcome.

The Flyers took advantage of the ample time and space the Ducks allowed defensively, with a commanding 5-2 win; a much needed bounce back win after the Bruins debacle on Monday.
1. We'll start with this no explanation necessary!

An unbelievable goal from Morgan Frost. The skill set is there. The compete level is amping up. The decision making is more patient and calculated. Is there a future for Morgan Frost in the Flyers top 9?
One more look at the wizardry!
2. Take A Bow Rasmus Ristolainen:

There's a new shortie sniper in town. Tired of watching Scott Laughton and Travis Konecny steal all of the glory scoring short handed goals, Risto took matters into his own hands and flew the zone short handed, creating an odd man rush with Laughton. Risto shot the seam, picked up a tape to tape feed, and looked like Connor McDavid on the finish; selling forehand and roofing a backhander upstairs.
But don't be confused as to who Rasmus Ristolainen is; a monster on the backend who loves playing the body. The Ducks Max Jones found out first hand that you don't want to bury your head on the rushwith Ristolainen on the ice. Ristolainen caught Jones in the trolley tracks and made him pay.
Ristolainen finished the night with a goal and an assist, a plus 2 rating, 2 shots, 3 hits, and 2 blocks.
3. Kevin «The Best One» Hayes:
All-Star Kevin Hayes recorded the first hat-trick of his career and pointed to the heavens to share the moment.
Hayes' first of the night came at the tail end of a feeble Flyers power play (and moments after Hayes coughed up a breakaway to Comtois, but that's not important). Tony DeAngelo made a simple cross ice feed to Hayes, who hesitated with a look away and then ripped a shot short side on Stolarz.
Hayes was gifted an open net tap in, by Scott Laughton, on his second goal of the night. Wade Allison sealed the boards on a weak clearing attempt and made a quick pass to Laughton down low. Laughton quickly drove the net and hit a wide open Hayes on a cross crease feed for the easy deposit.
Kudos to John Tortorella for giving the Hollywood a shot at the hatty with the net empty. Allison picked up a loose puck in the slot and made a pressure relieving pass to Hayes. In typical Hayes fashion, he held the puck until a clean look presented itself and buried a 150 footer into the empty net to complete the hat-trick.
Known as an elite playmaker, Hayes has an underrated shot and when he chooses to utilize it, he can tickle the twine.
4. Samuel Ersson:

The impressive Flyers rookie improved to 5-0 in his NHL career, with a quiet 25 save performance. The Ducks didn't generate a lot of great looks, but Ersson was there when they did. Ersson conceded one goal on the power play to Frank Vatrano, on a deft tip, and the other on a broken defensive play. Ersson had little chance on Adam Henrique's 15th goal of the campaign, as the Flyers turnover and coverage on the play was less than desirable.
It was a huge bounce back win, yes even against the Ducks and a much needed two points towards a wild card push. The Flyers have the potential to extend their winning streak as the play Thursday against the lowly Chicago Blackhawks and Saturday against the struggling Detroit Red Wings.
