Throughout this past post-season, it has been speculated that Carter Hart would be the Philadelphia Flyers' best trade chip.

However, here we are into September and there's been major news regarding the WJC 2018 scandal, which is oddly enough falling under an announcement from hockey canada tomorrow. Sept 8th and 9th in a press conference.
Carter Hart has gone private on Instagram and has also taken «Flyers» out of his bio.

This could mean a lot of different things but it is definitely interesting to say the least.

As a future starting goalie for the team willing to buy in at the right price, Hart would be a great addition.
In 2022-2023, Hart bounced back after a disappointing 2021-2022 season with a .906 save percentage, 2.96 goals against average, and a 22-23-10 record.
