There's not a long list a feel-good stories for the Flyers this season.

However, Travis Sanheim is definitely one of them. Since the appointment of Mike Yeo behind the bench, the defenseman is among the best in the league.

You don't trust me?

Since the departure of Alain Vigneault, Travis Sanheim is the 5th best point producer at 5 vs 5 among all the defensemans in the league with 25 points. Devon Toews, Brady Skjei, Cale Makar and Roman Josi are the only ones in front of him.

Their have been a lot of chatters about a potential trade in Sanheim and Provorov's case. But with the way the former is playing, Chuck Fletcher could be more inclined to keep him.

The relationship between Provorov and the management isn't great. If Fletcher wants to pull his "aggressive retool", it may be better to trade the Russian defenseman because his value on the trade market is certainly better than Sanheim. And if York can continue to show that he can play top-4 minutes, it's going to be way more easy to let go Provorov.
