Ivan Provorov and Travis Konecny to Winnipeg?

I have the feeling that even if the Philadelphia Flyers were in a "rebuild", they still would try to trade Travis Konecny. He is in trade rumours for more than a year now, and it seems like he is the most susceptible player to be gone by the end of the summer.

The other one? Ivan Provorov. There were reports that his relation with the organization have deteriorated. A fresh start could be beneficial for both sides.

So, will they be traded? It's more likely for Konecny, and a bit less in the case of Provorov. I think that it will go down as how the management feels with the development of Cam York. If they feel that the young defenseman can take top-4 minutes next year, it's going to be way easier to trade Provorov.

With that being said, let's explore some trade scenarios, and one is particularly interesting. A user on CapFriendly made a mock-trade which sent Morgan Frost, Ivan Provorov, Travis Konecny and a 3rd round pick to Winnipeg for Nikolaj Ehlers and Cole Perfetti.

This deal makes sense. The Jets need a top-4 defenseman, and Provorov is exactly that. Konecny could replace Ehlers on the top-6. In the case of Perfetti, he's still a prospect on the rise with 18 NHL games under his belt. He has a better potential than Frost.

Would you do this trade?
