James Van Riemsdyk Traded to Flyers Rival?
With the new year approaching, it means that we are getting closer to the trade deadline. This means that speculation is going to get crazier and crazier every day.
Sometimes, though, that speculation is warranted an is more factual than just an apparent guess or opinion.
One of those speculations is about Flyers' James van Riemsdyk, who is expected to draw attention from teams closer to the deadline.
One insider believes that JVR would be a great fit for the Flyers' interstate rival, the Pittsburgh Penguins.

This would be a tough move for Flyers fans, but it definitely does make sense.
The Penguins could use some more depth at the forward position. JVR could get the Flyers a solid return, and with the Penguins looking to make a playoff run, they might be willing to give up a solid package in order to get the 33-year old veteran.
