Seeing a team's lineup gives the fanbase a sense of what coaches are thinking and where they believe the players should be for them to win. To find the right fit for his players, John Tortorella has mixed and matched his lines all season.

Last night, the Flyers saw new line combinations when they played against the Seattle Kraken. This lineup is certainly telling who Tortorella trusts.
Torts has a high degree of confidence in Flyers forward, Noah Cates. Throughout the season, Catesy has continued to develop and rise through the lineup. Against the Kraken, he had Kevin Hayes and Owen Tippett on his flanks.

It seems the trust of Kevin Hayes with torts has improved since earlier in the season, with Hayes now on the top line and hoping to build on this point total. this is in contrast to the Minnesota game where he sat on the third line.
I feel that Torts is trying to get as much hockey out of this team as possible and with the March 3rd trade deadline looming, it remains to be seen if general manager Chuck Fletcher will improve the Flyers for Torts.
UPDATE: after the Flyers go down 0-2 in period 1, Torts shook up the lines once again, questionably so.
