John Tortorella is ''Disgusted'' and Rips Into Certain Unidentified Players After Flyers Loss

One may argue injuries are the case to blame for the Flyers recent struggles, with players such as Sean Couturier, Cam Atkinson and Ryan Ellis out, but that is a invalid point as the Flyers dominated the start of this season without those players. According to head coach John Tortorella, some players are to blame, and those players do not deserve a spot throughout this Flyers re-tooling process.

Philadelphia Flyers writer for the Philly inquirer, Olivia Reiner caught some of John Tortorellas post-game comments after the Flyers took their second loss in a row last night on Wednesday, agains the Toronto Maple Leafs:

Flyers coach John Tortorella said postgame after their 5-2 loss to the Leafs that he was pleased with the effort from most of his players, but not all of them. He elaborated later with this quote:

''I'm not going to name names. I'm really, really happy about how some guys, their effort tonight, how they handled certain situations. But on the other side, there's some situations that absolutely disgust me. Those are the things we have to work through. When you're building a team, you're not only looking to build and grow your players. You're also looking for players that you simply don't think are going to be part of it. That separates itself as you go through all this process. So that's part of our job.''
