John Tortorella snaps at the media and refuses to answer this one important question
There is no doubt that John Tortorella does not enjoy the attention of NHL reporters or the front office itself. He spared no one when lashing out in Philadelphia recently when it came to the local media.
Recent reporters asked a very relevant question about team play, which even led to players calling one another out.
Specifically,
Cam Atkinson criticized the team's lack of effort and discipline as well as their failure to convert on six power-play attempts.

"I don't want to talk about the power play."
When you go 0-for-6, you HAVE to talk about it.
Tortorella responded to the media's questions about the failing power play in the same way he did in the past.
Afterward, he reacted by lashing out and asking to leave.
Tortorella seems incapable of separating himself from his cranky emotions, even when it matters most.
John Tortorella:
"I'm not gonna talk about the Power Play. Once I get away from you guys. I'm getting on the bus and going. Can I leave now? Thank you."

With a 10.3% conversion rate, the Philadelphia Flyers rank 29th in the NHL according to Statspros.com. It ranks just above the Chicago Blackhawks, St. Louis Blues, and Washington Capitals.
It's up to Rocky Thompson to turn things around, but I'm sure Tortorella has told him already.
