In the third period of last night's game 3 between the Colorado Avalanche and Tampa Bay Lightning, Nikita Kucherov left the ice after a nasty hit from Devon Toews.
The Tampa Bay Lightning went on to win in a convincing fashion. Stopping the red hot Avs in a 6-2 home victory.
Lightning defenceman Victor Hedman also chimed in calling the hit a dangerous play.

"It's a dangerous play. We'll see if anything happens. Probably not."
In the post game presser, Tampa cooach Jon Cooper had nothing but shade to throw towards Colorado.
"It's a contact game, but guys know what they're doing."
Before exiting the ice, Kucherov had two assists and 6 shots in 17:46 of ice time.
The 29-year old will be a big loss, especially with Brayden Point out and Nazem Kadri making strides in his recovery on the other side.
