Breaking News NBA super star LeBron James and Hip hop star Drake are being sued after accusations they
stole the rights to a movie about a segregated hockey league this according to a new lawsuit.

The two stars are being sued for $10 million byBilly Hunter, the former head of the NBA players union, who claims
"he holds the exclusive legal rights to produce any movie about Canada's old Colored Hockey League."

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Hunter claims:

"LeBron and Drake used their production companies to go behind his back and sign a deal with the authors of a book their "Black Ice" hockey documentary is based on ... icing out Hunter in the process. Problem is, Hunter claims he had a deal with the guys who wrote, "Black Ice: The Lost History of the Colored Hockey League of the Maritimes, 1895-1925," where Hunter would hold the exclusive rights to produce a movie."
Last week news began to leak that Drake and LeBron James contacted Akim Aliu about a partnership with the Hockey Diversity Alliance. As they intended to create a documentary called 'Black Ice' that was expected to be debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival. But now that's doubtful after Hunter's claims.

The documentary was intended to coded focus on anti-black racism in the history of hockey and features players from the Hockey Diversity Alliance, plus other black players.
Hunter filed the claim in the Manhattan Supreme Court. Hunters claim is based off the following information:
"Hunter alleges he holds the exclusive legal rights to produce any film about the Colored Hockey League that existed from 1895 to the 1930s.
While the defendants LeBron James, Drake and Maverick Carter [LeBron's business partner] are internationally known and renowned in their respective fields of basketball and music, it does not afford them the right to steal another's intellectual property," says the suit filed by Hunter's attorney, Larry Hutcher.
In the lawsuit, Hunter accuses defendants who include LeBron James & Drake, and their entertainment companies of cutting a deal behind his back with the authors of the critically acclaimed book that the documentary is based on "Black lce: The Lost History of the Colored Hockey League of the Maritimes, 1895 to 1925."

If LeBron and Drake decided to play shady cutting Hunter out of the deal then they should definitely have to pay Hunter just because your celebrities doesn't mean your above others if that's indeed the case.
