Looking Back on The Ryan Ellis Trade - Everyone's a Loser?

At the time of the trade both sides were under the impression that they had run away with the best return from the Ryan Ellis trade.
But, with a perspective of the 2021-22 season, it's not exactly a 50/50 win trade, but more a 50/50 loss.
Ellis suffered an injury and hasn't been able to do much of anything for the Flyers.
The return for Ellis that the Predators received, included Nolan Patrick and Phillipe Myers.
The Predators retained Myers, but sent Patrick to Vegas in exchange for Cody Glass, who recently crack the Predators opening night roster.
The trade, at the moment looks like a wash, as Ellis and Patrick have battled injury trouble of late. But should Glass perform well for the Preds in 2022-23, it would be hard not to deem Nashville and Cody Glass as the winners.
