MAJOR Injury Updates Announcement Regarding Sean Couturier and Travis Konecny of The Philadelphia Flyers
It has recently been revealed for the good and bad, that the Flyers will be taking part in an official multi-year rebuild to retool the organization.
Elliotte Friedman notes that Dave Scott says «multi-year process» in the release.

This is great news in many ways, Flyers such as Sean Couturier, Cam Atkinson, Ryan Ellis (likely not) and now Travis Konecny have a lot of weight lifted off their shoulders throughout their rehabbing due to recent injuries.
Couturier and Atkinson both have not played a single game this year, and the Flyers have yet to provide 'truthful' injury updates on the two. What we do know now, is that Sean Couturier will officially be returning (to practice) with the Flyers roster as early as this week.

per the broadcast today, Travis Konecny is expected to begin skating this week and Sean Couturier is expected to begin skating with the team as well.
Although this is great news, we surely hope this is not another disaster in the making, and we hope the Flyers medical staff is SURE that Couturier is cleared before returning to any kind of practice and or play.
