Mason McTavish Ties Canadian Record In Convincing Fashion Vs Slovakia

Team Canada continues to roll at the 2022 World Junior Hockey Championships. After defeating team Latvia in their first game tonight they took on team Slovakia.

Canada would come out flying, scoring 4 goals in the first period to set the pace for Thursday night's game. The dominance would continue in the second period led by Captain Mason McTavish with a hat trick giving Canada a 8-1 lead heading into the third period.
Mason McTavish would tie a Team Canada record with his 4th goal of the game. Other then McTavish the only players in Canada's history to score 4 goals in a game are Mario Lemieux, Simon Gagne, Brayden Schenn, Taylor Raddysh, and Connor Bedard.
