Nonetheless, Michkov was able to draw back in during the third period, and he immediately began to show impact on the ice by displaying improved defensive skills and blocking a shot from the opponent.
As a center, Michkov will need to improve on both sides of his game if he intends to make it to the NHL.
It just goes to show that even the best players have to improve their skills from time to time.
