In a recent statement to Sport-Express, SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg reaffirmed the reports regarding the 7th overall pick to the Philadelphia Flyers' KHL team, Matvei Michkov.

Rotenberg emphasized that Michkov's arrival in Canada is unlikely for at least another three years.
From Sport-Express: SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg reminding everyone that Michkov is signed until April 30, 2026, and that first he needs to prove himself in SKA, and that he hasn't earned anything there yet and will have to make his place.

He highlighted that the talented player is signed with SKA until April 30, 2026, and needs to showcase his skills and earn his place within the team before any international transfers can take place.
Michkov's journey to the NHL will require patience, determination, and consistent performance on the ice.
