Michkov refused to even speak to Arizona
It's quite amusing that the Arizona Coyotes were excluded from negotiations with Matvei Michkov, despite the team's desire to acquire him.
It's surprising that a team undergoing a rebuilding phase would not be attractive to young players, but Michkov clearly had no interest in joining the Coyotes.
