By 9:30pm tonight, the 2021-22 season will be over for the Flyers. That's certainly a sigh of relief for everybody. Mike Yeo was in press conference today after the team's morning skate, and he was asked about this horrible campaign.

Yeo said that this year was the toughest year in his career.

He also defended himself subtly, by saying that even if Scotty Bowman or Toe Blake were the Flyers' coaches, the team would've still be bad considering everything that happened.

"When you have that many guys out (...) I don't care, you could have Toe Blake and Scotty Bowman. It doesn't matter who your coach is. You're not going to win; you're not going to be successful. But I think we stayed focus and kept having a good attitude, so I'm hopeful," said Mike Yeo.

Mike Yeo was put in an extremely tough situation from the beginning, and to be honest, he seemed like he did everything he could. He even succeed to make some players better like Travis Sanheim, Oskar Lindblom or Travis Konency. Those three guys were way better under Mike Yeo than Alain Vigneault.
