At the beginning of this month, Ivan Provorov was playing so poorly that he was removed from the power-play. It's Cam York who took his place on the first wave.
However, there's still a big absent on the Flyers' PP : Travis Sanheim. Several weeks ago, interim head coach Mike Yeo said that they were going to give Sanheim some time with the advantage of a player, but it hasn't really been the case at all.
Yeah, he has been used a lot more in this situation in the last two games (52 seconds against Nashville and 1:37 in Colorado), but his average time on the PP since March 1st is still very low. And don't be fooled by the last two games, Sanheim had a similar sequence between March 3rd and March 5th. His PP time declined after those matches.
It's a bit baffling that they are giving to Keith Yandle more ice time on the PP than Travis Sanheim. The latter has been the best offensive defenseman on the team this season.
