Mike Yeo makes two amazing announcements

Flyers head coach Mike Yeo announced this morning that top Flyers prospect Ronnie Attard is expected to make his NHL debut this Saturday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Attard, 23 is a right-handed defenceman drafted by the Flyers in the third round back in 2019. Since then, he's been playing at the Western Michigan University. He weighs in at a huge 6'4, 209 lbs. Just this past season he had 13 goals and 23 assists through 39 games in the NCAA.

Mike Yeo also announced the long awaited return of veteran center Nate Thompson to the lineup.
This will be Thompson's first appearance in the NHL since Nov. 26 2021. The veteran Alaskan native has one goal in 19 games played this season.
