It's always in their best interest as NHL call-ups to demonstrate their skills to their new head coach. Cam York certainly showed that tonight when he scored a goal against the Colorado Avalanche. During his first-period interview with Keith Jones, he had a little fun explaining the play.
Having made a great first impression for Torts, York is sure to make the case for him to remain with the Flyers. A lineup that has been ravaged by injuries is happy to hear this news.
