In the midst of the winless streak, Travis Sanheim took his fair share of criticism from coach John Tortorella. In front of the home crowd tonight, Sanheim showed off his offensive talents with a rocket shot over Avalanche starter Alexandar Georgiev.
After the 5-3 victory over the reigning Stanley Cup champions, Sanheim spoke with the media about the game and his contributions.
This was a good victory for the Flyers, they looked poised and engaged, and they wanted to take advantage of their chances against an opponent who was weakened by injuries. In the future, the Flyers certainly hope this will boost their confidence and give them something to build on.
