Over the last several years, Jacob Trouba has made a name for himself for dishing out some hugeshots, as well as occasionally controversial ones. As a result of his sleazy antics, Trouba has become the player most disliked by various fan bases. People remember the New York Rangers captain, Jacob Trouba, with a bad taste in their mouths because of flying elbows, illegal checks to the head, and other incidents.

Trouba is under fire once again, for possibly the fourth time this season due to a questionable hit most are saying.
Jacob Trouba decided to try to give the New York Rangers momentum in hopes of a possible comeback while being down 3-0 during the Blackhawks' 5-2 winagainst them on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden, but sadly, that ''momentum swinger''for Trouba did not help, and did quite the opposite.

After the game, many Blackhawks were questioned by media about Jacob Trouba and the hit he laid on Andreas Athanasiou, many like Max Domi just disregarded the question; ''No comment on that guy'' Said Domi.
Well another Blackhawks forward had different plans, and this time it came from the man himself who took the tough blow by Trouba late in the game.
''That guy is known for hitting high, not really worrying about the puck out there and almost trying to hurt people. That's his game; that's what he does. He's an $8 million man with zero goals, so he has to figure out how to do something when making that much. If you can't help the team, I guess you try to hurt guys on the other team.
It was a weird play. The puck was there. He could've made a play on the puck. Instead it's like [he had] an intent to try to hurt somebody. He's been known to do that. You have to know when he's on the ice, and he got me there.'' Said Athanasiou.

Andreas Anthanasiou may have gotten a little carried away or he may have been stating the truth. Personally, I believe he handled it appropriately, while some believe the hit was legal and that Trouba is not deserving of punishment.
