NHL Prospect Returns Home to Continue Brain Cancer Treatments
Toronto Maple Leafs' prospect, Rodion Amirov completed treatments earlier this year and was able to resume hockey training.
Unfortunately, Amirov received news that he would need to stop training and return home to continue treatments for a brain tumor.
The 21-year old has a tough battle ahead of him, but the entire hockey community is supporting him.
Hockey fights cancer month is not just this month, but every month.
We wish Rodion well and hope to see him back on the ice where he belongs in a short time.
