NHL refuses the Flyers to wear specific jerseys today

After making a spectacle out of Logan Thompson and Marc-Andre Fleury, the NHL has come out against fighting cancer once again.

In today's game, the Flyers will take on the Carolina Hurricanes as part of Hockey Fights Cancer Night.

As a result of Gary Bettman and Bill Daly, the NHL has refused to allow the team to wear the specialty warmups.

Tomorrow night the Flyers will host their annual Hockey Fights Cancer night.

Unfortunately, the NHL and Gary Bettman have decided to boycott special themed jerseys. So do not expect the Flyers to wear their typical lavender threads. However, jerseys will still be auctioned off for a good cause, through

I'm more interested to see if any players go against the new league rules and decide to support a cancer ribbon on their helmets.

You want more eyes on special causes since the Flyers are one of the better teams in the Metropolitan Division, right? It appears NO, as the NHL will not allow players to wear jerseys or helmets to symbolize their fight against cancer.
Marc-Andre Fleury and Travis Dermott should be joined by the Flyers in fighting the NHL and cancer.
Like on Pride Tape, Bettman will fold once again.
