The Panthers beat the Canadiens 7-2 last night in Florida. Late in the game, you would assume that the Canadiens were unhappy with how the game turned out.

Well, it seems that took a toll on their emotions as things began to get physical.
Kirby Dach and Radko Gudas were exchanging words and slashes when Joel Edmundson, of the Canadiens, came up to Gudas and gave him a pretty nasty crosscheck to the back.
The crosscheck immediately sent Gudas to the ice in pain, and some Panthers players were looking to retalliate.

Linesman, Ryan Jackson, attempted to intervene and calm the emotions, but a stick got caught between his legs, causing his right leg to bend in a way it shouldn't.
Jackson immediately fell to the ice, grabbing his knee in pain.

Ryan Jackson was unable to return, which makes sense given how much pain he appeared to be in.
As a result of the crosscheck, Edmundson received a game misconduct, and will likely be getting a call for the NHL Department of Player Safety in the near future.
