Nazem Kadri Could Be Signed Very Soon

The NHL free agency is full swing and still has some very good players including former Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri. After the year Kadri had last year Kadri remains the most coveted player available on the market right now.
However Kadri could very soon be scooped up as it appears the New York Islanders are very interested in Kadri's services. New York Islanders general manager Lou Lamoriello was expected to make a significant addition to bolster his club's offense.
Sportsnet's Hockey Insider Elliotte Friedman believe that Lamoriello was in on Johnny Gaudreau but that obviously didn't come to fruition. Kadri would definitely be a great alternative the 31 year old London Ontario native had a career year putting up 87 points in the regular season and was a huge part of the Avalanche Stanley Cup run.
