The New Jersey Devils rebuild is starting to come together with alot of young players and prospects in the cupboards. However, The Devils and leading scorer from last season restricted free Agent Jasper Bratt have hit a road block in the contract negotiations.
Apparently the two sides have differences when it comes to salaries for Bratt. The Devils and Bratt are around $2.350,000 million dollars apart and look to be having to head to salary arbitration on August 3rd to figure it out.
According to Hockey Insider Frank Seravalli the Devils have filed for the sum of $4.150,000 million dollars annually while Bratt's agent is asking for $6,500,000 dollars annually. Last session Bratt earned $2.750,000 million dollars on a two year contract.
