The Ottawa Senators got hit with some bad news today as Senators General Manager Pierre Dorian would reveal prospect Ridly Greig will be out 3-4 weeks with a separated shoulder.
Grig was injured during the quarter final game between Team Canada and Team Switzerland when he was checked by Switzerland's Vincent Despont.
It's not all bad news though as Dorian would share that all though Greig will miss the entire NHL rookie tournament the Senators are hoping he's fully recovered for preseason.
Greig had a good tournament for Team Canada scoring three goals and six points in five games. The 20-year-old forward was Selected in the first round of the 2020 NHL draft by the Senators 28th overall.
