Oh Boy - Red Wings Star Takes Scary Fall

Dylan Larkin of the Detroit Red Wings struggled with a injury in the 2020-21 season after having core muscle surgery.

His recovery time was expected to be 8-10 weeks; which sidelined him for the rest of the entire 20-21 season, missing nearly 40 games
"I think early there was a pain management and then at some point it just became where it just felt like surgery was the right thing,"
"I don't want to speak for Dylan, but it felt like the right thing to do for him to have it done. He tried to grind through I think as long as he could. Now hopefully he can get himself healthy and the expectation is that you might miss some training but ultimately he'll have plenty of time for that and should be ready to go next year."

Larkin is now back in good shape and seems to be 100% fully recovered, but it is now unsure as it seems as if he got something twisted the wrong way when Detroit faced off against the Blackhawks in there season-home opener.
The Blackhawks defensemen gave Larkin a decent shove, but showed no intent to injure, check out the video below:
